I'm a Creative Director / Art Director who brings a wide range of experience and a piping hot cup of ideas to the table. I'm passionately curious, and you might say curiously passionate, about craft, big ideas and producing creative that produces results.
With over fifteen years of art direction / design experience I'm as comfortable creating work as I am presenting it.
But it’s not all about me. I also have a passion for mentoring up-and-coming creatives. I take great pride in teaching within the Bachelor of Creative Advertising program at Humber College, and guest speaking at schools all over North America.
While at Bensimon Byrne, Y&R and Twist Image, I worked with clients such as Hyundai, Colgate, LG, Ford, Colgate and more. I have created small space ads for small cars, big TV spots for big brands, and everything in between.
While working for the ADC (Art Directors Club, New York), I was surrounded by some of the best creative minds in the world, and was inspired on a daily basis. I managed the ADC Young Guns competition, which awards and unites the the best young creatives in the world.
My signature achievement, however, has been helping to create Portfolio Night: the world’s largest creative portfolio review and recruitment event. An event which helped connect thousands of young creatives with Creative Directors all over the world. It spawned the Portfolio Night All-Stars program, which selected 25 of the best young creatives from cities spanning the globe and brought them to New York for an all-expenses-paid, one-week creative challenge. I managed planning and logistics, and secured funding via sponsorship from Ford, Puma and Aperol.
Currently, I'm VP, Creative Director at Weber Shandwick, where I work on ideas and executions which drive interest, excitement and engagement for clients such McDonald's, Purolator, Canadian Tire, OREO, Cadbury and more.
In short, I'm a hardworking and results-driven art director / designer / all-around nice guy.
